Situated under the willow tree in the heart of Jarrow on Bede Burn Road, Bede Burn Kindergarten is a warm, welcoming nursery offering high-quality care and early education for children aged 12 weeks to 4 years. Housed in a beautifully converted former day care centre, our setting is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, stimulating, and home-like environment where children can flourish.

Our nursery features three large spacious playrooms, each with its own large, secure garden — giving children daily opportunities to explore the outdoors, get active, and connect with nature. We also provide separate sleep rooms to ensure children have a calm, peaceful space to rest and recharge throughout the day.

At Bede Burn Kindergarten, we’re proud to offer a dedicated library room, inspiring a lifelong love of books and storytelling. 

Mealtimes are a highlight of the day, with our on-site chef preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals that children love. From first steps to confident learners, we’re here every step of the way — creating a caring environment where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
